In this repair, the plumbing stack (vent pipe) was installed but not properly flashed and waterproofed. This cause regular leaking around this pipe penetration.The Reliable Roofing repair technician chose to install a lead pipe flashing to fix this leak. He prepped a proper lead pipe flashing for installation over the pipe on top of the roof membrane. The lead was formed to fit over the plumbing stack. A layer of roofing cement was spread on the bottom of the pipe flashing and the perimeter of the flashing collar.The pipe flashing was set in place and a target patch of modified bitumen roofing membrane was installed over the flashing collar. The plumbing vent stack is now watertight.Completed Roof Repair Job
